Senior Pastor’s Biography

 

Apostle Guy Joseph Tanoh is the founder and Senior Pastor of Overcomers Ministries Church formerly La Génération des Vainqueurs Ministry Church which was founded on August 13th 2007.

Apostle Tanoh was born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on November 29th 1977. He grew up in a Christian family where he had a happy childhood. Like many he unfortunately, quickly left behind the biblical principles that were taught to him as a child. He would later come back to Christ at the age of 17.

While living in Abidjan, Apostle Tanoh earned a masters degree in Economics. He moved to the United States in 2002 where he later earned a degree in Business Administration with a certification in Telecommunication Engineering.

The Apostle is married to his beautiful wife Eliane Tanoh. They have three boys named Elijah, Elisha and Ethan. The Apostle believes that family is the core of life and a happy family is necessary for a successful ministry.

Apostle Tanoh knew he wanted to be a preacher since his childhood. He started the ministry in 1998 but didn’t really start to preach until 2000. He was ordained in 2002. Ever since, Apostle Tanoh has excelled in the prophetic ministry deeply rooted in the revelation of the Word of God. He particularly enjoys training the next generation of leaders in the body of Christ.

Apostle Guy Joseph Tanoh’s favorite verse is Revelations 17:14

“They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings —and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.”

He is determined to fulfill his calling which is to rouse a conquerors’ generation for the Lord.
