Apostle Guy Joseph Tanoh is the founder and General Overseer of Overcomers Ministries Church, formerly La Génération des Vainqueurs Ministry Church, which was founded on August 13th, 2007. He provides apostolic leadership and oversight across all OMC locations.

Early life and faith
Apostle Tanoh was born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on November 29th, 1977. He grew up in a Christian family where he had a happy childhood. Like many, he unfortunately quickly left behind the biblical principles that were taught to him as a child. He would later come back to Christ at the age of 17.
While living in Abidjan, Apostle Tanoh earned a masters degree in Economics. He moved to the United States in 2002 where he later earned a degree in Business Administration with a certification in Telecommunication Engineering.
Family and foundation
Apostle is married to his beautiful wife Eliane Tanoh. They have three sons. Apostle believes that family is the core of life and a happy family is necessary for a successful ministry.
Apostle Tanoh knew he wanted to be a preacher since his childhood. He started the ministry in 1998 but didn’t really start to preach until 2000. He was ordained in 2002.
